·        Eczema is a skin disease resulting from the thickening of the outer layer of skin.

·        Redness of skin

·        Inflammation of skin

·        Itching and dryness of skin

·        Changes in outer layers of the skin

·        Crusts in the outer layer, blisters, cracks or bleeding are common

·        At times, unhealed wounds can remain as it is

·        Dermatitis means skin inflammation.

·        When specific infection appears is classified as dermatitis.

·         Some may the term acute skin inflammation is used for ‘dermatitis’ or chronic skin inflammation as ‘eczema’.
