Migraine · The word "migraine" is from the Greek ἡμικρανία (hemikrania), "pain on one side of the head", from ἡμι- (hemi-), "half", and κρανίον (kranion), "skull". Migraine is a primary headache disorder characterized by recurrent headaches that are moderate to severe.
